4          The diameter of the bottom of a frustum of right circular cone is 10 cm, and that of the top is 6 cm and height is 5 cm. Find out the area of the total surface and volume of the frustum. (Take p = 22/7).

5          A tent consists of a frustum  If the radii of the ends of the frustum be 16 metres and 10 metres, the height of the frustum 8 metres  find the number of square metres of canvas required for the tent.

9.             The diameter of the top of a bucket is 32 cm and that of its bottom is 20 cm. If the height of the bucket is 21 cm, find the cost of the tin sheet used in making this bucket at the rate of Rs 1.50 per dm2. (Take p  = 22/7)

10.        A reservoir in the form of the frustum of a right circular cone contains 44 × 107 litres of water which fills it completely. The radii of the bottom and top of the reservoir are 50 metres and 100 metres respectively. Find the depth of water. Also, find the lateral surface of the reservoir. (Take p  = 22/7)

11         The perimeters of the ends of the frustum of a cone are 96 cm and 68 cm. If the height of the frustum be 20 cm, find its radii, slant height, volume and total surface.
